I admire a diehard biker, but I'd take today's weather in the DR over that cold crap. What a beautiful day it was , sunny and warm but not hot=perfect for this Canuck.

Jarabacoa has some of the nicest weather I've experienced here. I've also ridden a bike in the snow and ice and don't know if it can get any worse.

I was a motor cop 1978-1984, 1995-1998 and again 2005-2012 and on the east coast we put the Bikes away Nov 30 and bring em back out April 01 never rode one in the snow or ice just way too risky not worth dying over. That being said I wish i could bring my bike with me when I come down for Feb and March this year! Starting next year we will be down for three months! I wish my wife was more receptive to living in the DR for six months of the year but that's life!

Have a USA Wife for 6 months, and some Dominican "Wives" for 6 months!
It's healthy to spend time away from each other!

That biker looks like a frozen popsicle. That does not look like any fun at all. Anyone who can miss the Winter weather in North America is one lucky ......
