And once you buy the banana slicer,you'll use it once and then toss it in your kitchen drawer.

To be fair, I worked at a place with an avocado harp and it was very handy. Getting the pit out was another matter.

I've used those on a seasonal basis. You must be city folk. Never saw the end of Fargo? I only used it strictly for legal purposes. If you don't have a chipper, you have to make burn piles out of brush, which is a huge hassle. Those things take up up 2" branches and I've seen giant ones handle downed pine trees up to 3ft in diameter. They run all the Christmas trees through those sooner or later.
