It's a cutesy/cheesy teen sort of love/ship-wrecked comedy.
They used local extras including expats. I know a few that can be seen in the background of some shots.
Fun to watch mostly for having been filmed here.

very corny, but you can actually tell where it was filmed so thats a bonus, mostly around the peninsula to the right of ocean world
