    Default Ayurvedic Remedy for Ameobas

    Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysenterica)

This is a long shot, but has anyone had experience with using Kutaja against amoebic dysentery in the D.R? It has centuries history of being used expressly for this in Indian medicine and has been shown to be effective in clinical trials.

I'm also wondering about preparation and dosage (preventative and acute).

    Thanks!

    Clever Lemming,
What is your interest in this - is it for personal use or are you trying to steal the knowledge of the DR Brujas for your own gain? - or some pharmaceutical company ?

    Here's a little more info:

"The clinical study records the clinical presentations of forty cases with amoebias and / or giardiasis including the efficacy of Kutaja (Holarrhena antidysenterica) in intestinal amoebiasis. E. H. Cyst passers also have symptoms like loose motions, constipation, flatulence, abdominal cramping, diminished appetite and mucus in stools. Patients with giardiasis have more tendency to diarrhoea and flatulence with no mucus in stools. 70 per cent good response was observed in E. H. Cyst passers when treated with Kutaja bark. Therefore, it appears that well known anti – diarrhoeal traditional herbal drug Kutaja, may be helpful to an extent in treating the amoebiasis. It will prove to be a very economic drug"

CLINICAL STUDIES ON AMOEBIASIS AND GIARDIASIS EVALUATING THE EFFICACY OF KUTAJA (HOLARRHENA ANTIDYSENTERICA) IN ENTAMOEBA HISTOLYTICA CYST PASSERS

Powdered bark is very easy to obtain outside of the D.R. for around $30 a pound...

From that I get that you are a researcher and not interested for your own well being. I have watched many researchers come here for cures only to STEAL the information for large companies and give nothing back. You are obviously a researcher but for Who ?

I would not suggest that people give you information on this board!
