Join us on Wednesdays at 4 pm (we start this Wednesday Jan 30) at The Meeting Place (calle #60 Juan Bosch, Puerto Plata) The Puerto Plata Language Exchange Club is being formed in Puerto Plata at The Meeting Place. This is not a Spanish school (there is no charge) but rather a place to practice the language and learn about other cultures, and have some linguistic fun.We will meet weekly and, over coffee or refrescos, for half the time we will speak in English, and the second half in Spanish. Your level of Spanish (or English in the case of Spanish speakers) need not be high it can be anything from basic ?hola, como estas? to ?understanding everything the gua-gua drivers say?., but your willingness to help others with English and enthusiasm to try to speak should be.
