Altos de Chavon

Thanks for the input on Casa de Campo. Now that the wave/depression/t storm is staying south, it looks like the weather should be OK.

One more question: lots of the literature on La Romana touts the amphitheater at Altos de Chavon -- talks about concerts they have there. But I can't find any sort of schedule. That makes me think the concerts are probably rare there. Is that right?

Somewhat true. I would estimate about 8 concerts a year. Regardless, the area is lovely. Even if there is no concert going on, you can get the feeling.
