I am a Puerto Rican American living in northeast USA that has inherited 85 acres of land in the Dominican Republic. I would like to use the land to found a museum dedicated to the name of my deceased dad. I would like to create a non-profit charitable museum foundation for this purpose. Can a foreigner register a not-for-profit? What barriers/obstacles exist? Is my idea viable? Thank you.
