Riu Merengue Daytrippers

I have heard that the Riu Merengue are now allowing daytrippers in at the weekends.Has anyone recently been there?any comments or info would be greatly appreciated as I am going there in November and I am worried about overcrowding around the pool area and longer queus at dinner.

I was there in June and there weren't daytrippers at all. Sometimes in the weekend there were a few Dominican people who stay there for the weekend but that wasn't a problem at all. Around the pool it is always crowded, if you want have a chair there, you have to put your towel early in the morning. We were always lying on the beach, it's also close to the pool and the bars. I think you will have a beautifull vacation. It was my third time and I'm sure, I'll go back next year. If you have more questions, you can always ask them.
