The spokesman of the Ministry of Health has announced that soon a national day of vaccination of pets (dogs and cats) is set.
It mainly involves the prevention of rabies and combating scabies. According to Rafael Garcia and Eugenio Rodriguez, residents of Sos?a, they were very satisfied with the action taken by the central government. But for Sos?a it is less urgent because here in the village there are a few foreign aid organizations like the AAAS which already do vaccination of pets. In Sos?a veterinarians (from the USA and Canada) do regular free consultation to sterilize or castrate
