Make sure you are not buying re-treads. These are a used tires that have had a new layer of tread heat glued to it. The new tread can come off the tire while driving. The price is not worth the safety concerns.

I had a hard time finding a tire my size but finally found one. I guess not many around. I great shape. About 80 percent. 2000 pesos. 265/70/15

Yeh, I realize price trumps safety in the DR but really that is the only thing between you and the road. The extra $$$ just might be worth your personal safety, then again let's roll the dice.
