What's an inexpensive laundry service place in Las Terrenas that's close to the main intersection? Gracias.

There are a couple of options. There is a laundry in the plaza where you can park on the backside of Supermarket Lindo or diagonally across from the French Cafe down near Paseo Plaza there is a laundry that will also press your clothes.

The price in the one against the French Cafe is 70 peso for libra. That means 140 peso for one kilogramm. Press included.
I forgot my kichensponge between my shirts and they even washed that :)
