The new restaurant in the Park in front of Playa Alicia in Sosua is open. The menu had sandwiches, pizza and other more expensive choices. I hope it is a success because Sosua does not have alot of restaurants facing the ocean.
Pizza?
I thought there were one or two restaurants facing the ocean at Sosua Beach? :bandit:
I believe the ones actually on the beach usually close with the setting sun.
You could make it in 5 minutes at a slow pace, very nice beach, serious undertow, no lifeguards. How many minutes on foot to Casa Valeria? I heard it was pretty close.
Do the little restaurants there on the beach have drinks or you bring your own bottle?Great place for a drink and to watch the sunsets.

No restaurants on this beach. No vendors either. Pretty tranquillo

Yes and no. The restaurant/bar is in the park at the top of the bluff, overlooking the beach below.
No restaurants on Sosua Beach, either, if by beach you mean the sand bordering the water.
Are you saying Sosua Beach has no restaurants?
Sorry retired one but any restaurant that doesn't have a washroom doesn't have me as a customer. Today they sent me to "On the Waterfront" to have a p*ss and wash my hands. I went and Roberto et.al. let me use their facilities did I go back to the other place? Hell NO and never will. The new restaurant in the Park in front of Playa Alicia in Sosua is open. Restaurants and bars on Sosua Beach have drinks. No need to bring your own in Sosua.
The name of the park at the end of Dr. Rosen is Mirador. Great beach but as a previous poster stated the undertow can be bad. It it looks rough its more than the eyes sees.
