Hi,
For my next trip in May I want to get my scuba certificate. Who has the best coarse? Who does the expats recommend?

I made my Padi OWD with Merlin. Very friendly, professional and reliable, good equipment, the owner is german, they speak english, german, french, spanisch. Just 100 m from the beach.
I made also some dives with Northerncostdiving-Aguasports (the shop is on Pedro Clisante), also nice and nothing to complain, but normally you have to walk 3 minutes to the boat.

Our family got our certifications at North Coast. We enjoyed it immensely and they were great with our 11 year old daughter.

You may want to buy some basic gear before you come. Half wet suit, snorkel, mask and fins. It can help to get a couple lessons in before you come since the first ones are often done in swimming pools. I prefer snorkeling myself. 10 pounds of gear and a backpack and you're all set.

In my opinion North Coast is the best place to get certification in scuba.
