I'm close to renewing my permanent residency, and once I do so I would like to initiate the citizenship-application process. Has anyone completed the citizenship process and can share their experiences with regard to how many visits were needed to Santo Domingo and the approximate timetable?
I know that the process is much different for those who have Dominican spouses or large investments in the country, so I'm looking to hear from those who have obtained citizenship after having 2 years of permanent residency. Thanks.
