6mb claro, skype with video is fine

In Sosua I use DeLancer. $60/month for 3mb. Skype with video is fine. I get a FL based IP address too which may mean nothing to you but it helps me with my work.

for skype video chat 1mb claro plan should be sufficient; its minimum.

Basically if you want to use Skype, receive emails, and navigate it is enough with the cheaper plan that any of the companies offer you. The companies that offer a land line with internet are Tricom, Wind Telecom and Codetel depends where you live. Tricom is a bit cheaper the the other two at the moment but not for much. The speed that will satisfy your needs will be no more then 1 Mb/s for this type of use. Expect to pay around 1,200 to 1,500 pesos a month including taxes.
