I'm looking for a medical lab in Sosua or Puerto Plata where I can get a complete blood analysis workup. Thanks for any info.

Any clinic s/b able to do that for you..... I get mine done here in Cabrera --- Sosua is bigger.

Some analysis needs to go to SD,,, takes a few days

The new hospital outside of Sosua has a good lab. I have had blood work done there. Will be getting more done there in a month.

If Puerto Plata is where you are, Centro Medico Bournigal has a good lab. I have also had blood work done there.

In the past I have used a couple of places in POP, but no matter which place you use I think you need a scrip from a doctor.

no md, no script, just walk in, go in the am and often you will have the results the same day. Just make sure the blood draw is with a new needle and ask the person to wear new gloves. They will re-use gloves if you do not look out.

WELL. Now that we have THAT out of the way. CMC in Sosua is the about the ONLY place that I'll let the tech. stick a needle in me. Clean and the blood vampire ........ is very good.

I don't know what is needed to get what YOU want done but my vote is with him at CMC. Some of the other mentioned places I WOULD NEVER STEP A FOOT INTO. NEVER!

Actually the lab behind the Orange store in Sosua is very clean and the tech is very good. It is part of a chain of labs and they do a good job at a very reasonable price.

So I'm guessing that if you had an Oncologist in the States that wanted monthly blood counts, these labs would hand you your results and you could then forward to your own doctor?

Yes it would work that way. I have my labs done here and then email them to my doc in the states all the time.
