There is a nice, beautiful, blond Russian girl making her own chocolate bars and doing her own unique infusions with chocolate laced with everything from fresh ginger to hot spices, to fresh pepper, etc. Her name is Maria Mironova.

I just bought one of her chocolate bars at Casa Mami's in Cabarete (next to the police station). The ingredients on the back of the bag reads: Dominican organic cocoa beans, honey, candied ginger. Her email is: zliiduya@gmail.com. Her phone number is 829-993-5607.

This is real, organic chocolate with no preservatives! Nothing unnatural! This is the real deal! The chocolate is kept inside the refrigerator at Casa Mami's, so you need to ask someone to pull out a Tupperware box and open it in order to show you the different chocolate selections. There was only one left when i bought the one i have now: $200 pesos ($5 US dollars). Here are some pictures. And no, i do not know her, but i have seen her around Pearl Marina. she drives around on an electric bike sometimes. She's Hot!

It's semi-sweet, very dark chocolate. If i had to guess, i'd say its between 60% and 72%.

I just met up with the beautiful, shy, blond Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory of Cabarete. She just made a bunch of new chocolate infusions:

1. Dark chocolate with dried peppermint, dates, and honey...she does not use "Sugar"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Dark Chocolate, Sea Salt, Almonds and honey
3. Dark chocolate and Curry, with Almonds & honey

Ok, so far i've eaten the dark Chocolate bar with long "Dominican" almonds (the kind you find locally), fantastic Sea Salt (gives it a nice taste), & Honey, and let me just say...WoW! I love it! Here is what it looks like unwrapped. Can you says, "Mocha Goddess!"

Her chocolate is sold next to the police station here in Cabarete at the restaurant "Casa Mami." Check her website out, check her chocolate out, and then get back to us, please.

PS: Maybe you should buy me a chocolate bar and i'll taste test it for you just it make sure it's ok.

Thanks, Frank

I tried a new flavor of chocolate infusion today from Cabarete's very own Miss Willy Wonka: Maria Mironova: Dark Chocolate with Dates & Peppermint & honey. I really liked it. Here are some pictures of what it looks like:

i have those greasy rocky cocoa balls. wait. that somehow did not sound right, did it? anyways, the balls. apparently you grate them, mix them with stuff, melt and it become chocolate. i shall try to make my own, i suppose.
