From today's Sosua News. Most interesting to me was that the person named to this new position is someone who has a good track record for tourism promotion.

Mr Lorenzo Sancassani is known for his efforts in promoting tourism on the North Coast, especially in Cabarete. He is the organizer of many events such as sports tournaments and the famous jazz festival. Lorenzo Sancassani promised to make every effort to make tourism more attractive on the north coast (Maim?n, Puerto Plata, Sos?a and Cabarete).[/h]
