With the news out of Boston seemingly putting the manhunt to an end, I thought that I would post some information on a dance school here in Santiago.
This morning as I was parking outside of my house, a wonderful old friend gave a shout-out, She stopped and we chatted and I found out that she now has her dance studio over in Reparto Oquet.
It is called the Escuela Mar y Sol and is on Calle Proyecto 3 Number 29. The phone number is 809 582 5919.
She offers Merengue, Salsa, Bachata and Son. Cost is less than $100 for two months of classes.
Why? Because when I was Dean of Students at PUCMM (before the "P") she was my Director of Arts and Culture and taught dance at the university. Marisol Almonte has worked with dance groups of many years and is quite well respected.
