The Association of Hotels and Restaurants (Ashoresoca) and the Association of Media (Adompretur) organized last week a welcome cocktail in honor of the new director for tourism in Hotel Topacio Azul (Sos?a). The president of the Association of Hotels and Restaurants (Ashoresoca) Mr Tomas Callender gave a short speech in which he brought the qualities of Mr Sancassani to the attention. He also came with a large number of points of attention which should improve the service for the tourists.[/h]

He said he loves the country and is 100% committed to stimulate economic growth in the province of Puerto Plata. He stressed that the president Danilo Medina and the Minister of Tourism have promised him full support. The welcome cocktail was attended by many dignitaries and entrepreneurs from across the province of Puerto Plata including: Governor Eridania Llibre, General Miranda, Mayor Ilana Neumann of Sos?a, Gabriel Mora (Canoa) of Cabarete and the prosecutor of Puerto Plata, Alba N??ez.
