Okay, thanks for the learning opportunity. # 1 is obvious. Which of #'s 2 & 3 refers to registration, and then does the remaining expression refer to inspection?

We direct imported two van so far, we still don't have the plate for one that we imported one+ year ago, so #1 #2 #3 will take a long time if you want to do this yourself.

Let's remember we are in up side down world, if I must put everything in order..

0.Insurance.
1.License plates.
2.marbete.
3.revista.

Getting insurance won't be a problem unless it's a stolen car..

Dealer is one stop shopping - even insurance if you want.

Don't get worked up..... it doesn't need to be difficult.

Your dealer invoice will include all of it......or spend several days standing in line somewhere

You are probably going to need an attorney to get this done. Normally when buying a used car you need a contract, bill of sale, a letter from the police saying the car is not stolen, proof of insurance, copy of your passport. It can normally take the better part of 2 days. If you imported it from the states you would need the additional paperwork from the states and the shipper and customs.
