    Default Net Metering -Santiago

How many solor panels and other equipment would you have to show ednorte to justify them putting in a net meter? Net Metering sounds like a good idea, especially for people that leave their houses empty for months, build up credits when you are not there for the months when you are actually there. (assuming you could prevent thieves from stealing your panels etc)

From what I've read it's better to disconnect from the net entirely... and maybe put your panels inside for safe storage?

Far from a newbie, have my reasons for asking the question the way I did.

Is it hard to qualify to get the net meter installed?

Somebody on here is doing just that, north coast if I remember correctly - I just can't remember which poster it is. Hopefully they will see this thread and respond.
