My families moving to La Vega at the end of summer and we need to set up our house from scratch. I'm an avid craigslister back home but I see the DR craigslist is pretty sparse. Any classifieds out there anyone has found as good or very useful?

the locally made furniture out of pine is really quite ok and servicable.. I have never had the time to go around and search for stuff.. but bought a bed frame of pine for $1500 pesos.. cannot figure out how they could even make it that cheaply. Also found some good stuff at Conforama. there is also Mundo Anuncio and QueBarato.com but as I said, I have never used them.. just the locally made stuff.

The Classifieds in the Listin Diario carry lots of ads for used furniture. IF you read Spanish.
I have used them. They work.
