And the Dominican connection is....? I'm disappointed to see this idiot getting publicity even on DR1. He was hounded out of the UK for saying and doing offensive things and for me it is a shame to see so much of him now on US TV.

By the way, I'm not a fan. ;)

A very intelligent guy, usually if people are offended it is because they can't grasp his humor. Too much is too much, but he takes Americans apart, usually without them even knowing, they dont even see the jokes on themselves, only take offense. He is liked by the more intelligent human like Americans. But, Americans have a tough time laughing at themselves, this is why some dislike him, he makes Americans look American (a little bit too up themselves in general).
Just as Borat got mixed reviews, he made a mockery of Americans, they didn't like it, couldn't get the jokes on themselves, only can see the offense.

he does the same to stuck up Brits, and I expect he will do the same on this tour wherever he goes.

He offends Brits by telling them to get over themselves and yet he is devoutly British. If he had a different accent, the Brits would accept him more. He's like the kid in the Emperor's New Clothes.

Mika was speechless. She did not know what to say. They keep referring to Him in the third person and
He schooled them. embarrassing

what the f**k was this clip, btw? are those people professionals? i do not understand half of what they say, they talk over each other, mumble like they have a breakfast burger still stuck in the mouth. pathetic.

I do not find Russell Brand to be the least bit funny. Quite odd for a comedian, really, since comedians are normally supposed to be at least somewhat humorous.

Well, you do need to think to understand much British humor, nobody is holding up a sign telling you when it's ok to laugh. No punch line does not mean there is no joke, this is why he makes the joke often on you, of you, with no real possible comeback, simple reality is often a big joke.

Ummmm....kay.

So let me get this straight: if you don't find his "British humor" funny, it's because you can't/don't think? That somehow the humor is beyond the intelligence of the witness?

Is that it, Dog?

Folks that don't find him funny just aren't smart enough?

Correct, this could be a valid reason. I am not saying that everyone should like him, and if you dont like him then you are stupid. But if you don't get the point that he is a comedian then yes, I think there is a shortage of personality, range of humor or simply not intelligent enough to understand what he is talking about and the points he makes.

Well there is the possibility of lack of personality, range of humor as well, I suppose other reasons. I didn't define you, i dont know you, i only know you do not recognize him as a comedian, because you stated this. Even if I fail to find a comedian funny, I can still recognize he has comical value to others, with Russel Brand, apparently you do not.
