Cayo Levantado for under $400/night?

I love Samana and I would like to stay at Cayo Levantado for 2-3 days, but the lowest I've seen is $396 for July.

I know it's a 5-star hotel, but would it be possible to find it at a slightly lower price?

It's always been around $400 a night for the past few years. Not worth it, if you ask me...

I have stayed at this house a number of times: Samana Villa Rental: La Casa Del Mar: Caribbean Luxury With The Best Views | HomeAway It may not be what you are looking for, but much cheaper than CL. The house manager, Yocasty, has been great to us. She manages other houses as well. THIS house is in the middle of nowhere, but there are others closer to Las Galeras.

I believe a cook is available at this house for a reasonable fee.

Next time I go to Samana, I'm staying here: Samana Villa Rental: Villa Barkel, Panoramic View Of Playa Rincon Bay | HomeAway Why did I nevr stay here before?? I don't know. I paddleboarded past this house (group of houses) last time I was in Samana. It looks like HEAVEN!!!!

I went to Casa del Mar two years ago. Beautiful view to Cayo Levantado. How much did they charge you per night?

This must be a different La Casa del Mar. You cannot see Cayo Levantado from where we stayed. It is farther North, closer to Las Galeras than Samana. (town) Price depends on the number of people and season. We got a small discount once when we stayed more than 10 days, otherwise not. It doesn't hurt to ask.
