I have read online that citizenship can be obtained in 2 years if someone has an investor / rentista visa. I have questions about each visa option:
Investor Visa
Can the $200,000 be placed in a bank certificate of deposit or does it actually need to be an investment with some business activity?
Rentista Visa
I need to prove 5 years income of $2000 a month or more, but I do not know if 5 years can include future contracts. For example, if I have income from an investment in an overseas company for 2 years in the past and I have a contract guaranteeing income 3 years in the future, would this be sufficient for the rentista visa?
