Coaches Corner - DRopouts last performance there tonight

Our band, the DRopouts, received the news that the Coaches Corner on Pedro Clisante in Sosua will be closing at the end of June. We will be having our final "gig" there tonight as a kick off to the Canada Day celebrations this weekend.

We will try to get started around 8PM. Hope to see you there.

It's a good start to a good weekend....too bad about the place, seems to have a cloud over it, nothing works there so far.

Drummer that sat in last nigt at Coaches Corner - anybody know him?

Thanks Bob K. Glad you had a good time. It was sad to close a place where we had been playing for the past couple of years, but it was fortunate that we had as good a night as was possible. The guest performers were outstanding.

Say, we also had a "guest drummer" sit in at the beginning of the night. If anybody has a way to get into contact with that drummer please let me know.

Thanks Eddy.

Today we have an audition at Kahuna in Cabarete starting about 4 PM. Rumor is that Kahuna, which has a number of locations, may open one in Sosua. Perhaps at the very same location of the Hideaway/Coaches Corner?
