The last time I visited, they graded the road to Rincon, and paved about halfway there. Does anyone know if they finished paving? Last time there, I made it there no problem with my Aveo rental car.

Cobra, I was there in May, 2013
That was our last visit, also. Will be gpoing back in a month or so.

Sorry I can't help you.

I will say this: last may was the BEST the road from the turnoff toward Rincon all the way to the beach has been in for 8+ years.

Hope springs eternal! But with a better road will come increased activity.

I don't like to be a pessimist, but if they make it easy to get to Playa Rincon, e.g., paved roads, that'll be the beginning of the end for its somewhat pristine setting............
