Aeronautica announced today that the government is going to reduce air space/fly over costs in the DR to give more incentives for more airlines to fly here; hope they do and hope it works, prices should go down ideally. Reducing that particular tax doesn't violate their agreements with concessionaires that have long term contracts for airport operators, ground handlers, fuelers, etc.
Good solution.
If the gov't starts fining airlines for raising prices it'll only discourage others, as they might fear free market rules being trampled. Not a good solution.

Hope they catch up with American Airlines. What a rip off from Miami. Everytine I ride I feel like I got screwed and never kissed.
How they get away with their prices for such a short hop I do not know. Not to even start on the conditon and age of the
planes.
