In about 15 minutes there will be tons of drunk good looking yuppie chics drinking @ PJ Clarkes about 100 feet from your yacht.
Go hang at the bar, and invite a few on board. Chinatown is much closer to you by subway, Canal Street for good knock off bags. How big is your yacht/name?

Nothing special in the Heights unless you are looking for Dominican food or have somewhere specific to go to (I have a fantastic Dominican tailor for example).

It s just the hood, filled with Dominicans.

If you are a gringo, people will think you are looking to buy something (if you know what I mean).

So head up there. Frank the Tank recommends La Casa Del Mofongo. 1447 St Nicholas Ave(between 182nd St & 183rd St). Might meet a nice waitress with lots of chichos and a bad attitude. Go for it.

If you like ghetto living, otherwise, go see the tunnels in Jersey.

@ WYW - 228 posts in a week of nothing, kind of like Seinfeld show about nothing.

@YC - go to The Village and experience real Manhattan living, great night for that.
The best Indian food, Pizza, and Falafel, go to Mamouns Falafel on Macdougal Street!

Tio has a point. Not in the Village, but Churrascaria Plataforma in the Theater District is good. The bar gets packed.

Just hoist your colors and sail up and around the north tip of Manhattan. Assuming your talking about exes that live in the Heights, they''ll find you.

Yachtchef: You can go up to 204th St and go see the Cloisters, a beautiful Medieval museum...

Not chicks, not food, but culture. Interesting since it is 100% authentic..

Yacht chef words of advice: do not reminisce by visiting old haunts or you will
begin to feel depressed like you were in the DR.

Enjoy yourself and have a wonderful time with your friends.
