I'd expect it to be imported. Even in the US, it's very seasonal, mostly available in spring to mid-summer. My dad has a patch that's over 30 years old.
Asparagus is hard to find even in the US. It appears here in Miami in May through mid-June and then sometimes in October we see Chilean asparagus. They sell it canned and in jars all year.
Bravo had it for the past 7 weeks but it's now unavailable from their source. It was in excellent condition albeit slightly expensive at 240 pesos per pound bundle. I can get it from California via Amazon but with shipping it will cost around 60 US per pound.
