Transfer between Bavaro and SD

Hello Everybody,
I've heard that it's a new bus service between Bavaro and SD, does anyone know about it? Prices, information, etc..
In your opinion, which is the cheapest way to make this transfer?
(Taxis are expensive, ....).

There is an early morning tour bus direct from Bavaro to SD daily - I believe it leaves at 7AM. I don't know how much it costs, but it is aimed at the shop-happy tourist, so I am sure it is not the cheapest.

Another option is the bus from Higuey to SD, which leaves almost hourly and is pretty cheap (60 pesos, if I remember correctly). You can catch a motoconcho or mini-bus to Higuey. The Higuey-bound bus leaves from the "Lake Enriquillo bus station" in SD and the other bus station is just called Bavaro (or so it seemed to me).

It costs RD$120.00, they leave at 7 am and 4 pm either way.
Terminal in Santo Domingo is close to the Shell gas station in the Maximo Gomez. In Bavaro you probably have to take a taxi anyway so just ask the cab driver to bring you to the bus station.

Please don't take a motoconcho...

from Bavaro to Higuey! It would be a very uncomfortable and dangerous ride.
