Since 2 weeks, everytime I consult a weather site, it shows clouds and rain icones... every day almost everywhere in DR. Is it really like that in this moment?
Question about fiability of weather sites

the last couple of days we have had some long-awaited rain and cloud cover (in the north, anyways). There are sunny periods everyday also. We are entering the fall "rainy" season.
I know the Yahoo weather forecast for Puerto Plata is terrible. I can check it one minute, and it says sun. The next minute it is raining in PPlata and you check the website again....now it says rain. Very tough to predict the weather of this island nation with such high mountains I guess!
The island is lush in vegetation...so we do get a lot of rain. And the tourists that leave after their vacations are all sunburned, so we do get a lot of sun too
