I asked my wife what colour we were going to paint the new school and she said you chose. Thanks for nothing. I'm PARTIAL CLOUR-BLIND RED-GREEN SPECTRUM. Not usually, lots of people are, especially males. So I'm looking for suggestions. The columns will be covered in flat cut stone. Other school is blue but open to any suggestions, and perhaps a free website where I can plug colours on to the photo.

i'd love to see it in pink ;)

on a more serious note, green and yellow should work nicely. if the school is for younger kids i suggest some drawings maybe? or how about giving kids one smaller wall to do: animals, palms and stuff? i quite like the idea of school building being quite cheerful, even if the drawings are crooked and bad :)

Maybe a Tan with white trim..Tan seems to be the choice of color for schools...Or a custom tan with some highlights that show in the sun, but that would be pretty expensive Bob, If you're on a school budget...Anyways, I think Tan

Nido (two year olds) to Grade 4, this year so the oldest kids will be around ten years old. Interior colour are the only colour that affect the learning environment, whereas the outside colours are curb appeal. The school uniforms are yellow with blue, but I don't want the school looking like a Sirena store. There will be murals in the hall, which is wide and really long. Eventually the school will be three stories and have high school as well.

Coral color. Yes, that is a color here in the D.R. so it's NOT pink. lol. A deeper color close to salmon... but NOT salmon as an accent.

Problem? With any light color dirty hand prints show up fast. Perhaps using more of a easier to clean gloss would work better?

Congrates Bob and good luck.

Let all the different classes paint/draw some pictures on paper, then help them paint the school with their own ideas. Each class could decide what colour their "part" of the wall should look like.

MOST excellent idea .... done on a Coral colored background. :)

The contractor wants to use semi-gloss oil based paint.

Unless I am very mistaken (always possible) oil based paints especially with any gloss should NEVER EVER be used on exterior cement walls. I will wait for someone out there who has the technical words to explain why.
