Come on now, I posted a request for information on apartments or other housing rentals on the Southern coast, near Bayahibe or La Romana. Nobody on this board can help me out, in beginning my search? Sheesh, maybe I should have asked about drugs or crime in DR. Hey, what is the best way to get swindled anyway? Kidding. Just kidding.

Amy,you know that to "plan ahead" in the DR is a "fool,s errand!"You really have to be here "in person" to get anything done.The apt. is 300 US per month,then when the "rubia" shows up,it is 500 because the price of water has gone up!Come down, go to where you want to live,put out the "word" about what you are looking for and........ like magic people find what you need.You seem to be very "street smart" I think you will do OK!Criss

it is this truly "American way" of mine to over-think and over-plan everything! I guess I have been away from the island too long. It has been almost 2 months...
