Knowing Hubieres somehow he has something to gain from this, but ( and I can't believe I'm saying this) I'm on his side on this. Seeing the Barrick Gold's debacle I have no confidence that the government will negotiate a favorable contract with Falconbridge and/or provide any oversight to ensure environmental regulations are followed. So I say leave the minerals where they sit and Falconbridge can go for all I care. After all they have been exploiting mines for decades and what does Bonao have to show for it other than pollution?
