I'll be in Santo Domingo for a week starting 11/13. I'd love to rent a decent bike, mostly for exercise, but also for fun. I doubt there are any stores that do this. Sooooo, I was wondering if any of you had a bike you'd be willing to rent or knew where I could rent one. I have no problem leaving a deposit. Thanks.

Can you take out a $1,000,000 life insurance policy?????????
Please list "CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC" as beneficiary!!!!
Think about THIS.
How many people have you seen "Biking" around Santo Domingo, OR, anywhere else in the DR??????
Know WHY???????
They are all long since DEAD!!!!!!

"Walking", is a better, and much safer, exercise.
If you don't get mugged that is!

They don't close the streets on Sundays for cyclists and walkers? The roads don't have big bike lanes? I think I'll change my plans to go to Tibet.

Lol anyone seen cyclist tour de la independencia ? :D cyclism is getting popular for those who can afford it. They aint any good though.

Riding a bike here is dying on your bike. Maybe in la zona colonial is do-able but anywhere else in SD deathsentence.

I do ride my bike occasionally, but I live 50 meters from park Las Praderas. Outside the parks I wouldn't cycle, if you don't get run over you'll get suffocated.
