6th Annual North Coast Charity Golf Classic

Please come join us for this 6th annual event that will continue the tradition of helping those in our communities who need it most. Over the previous 5 years this event has contributed about $1 million pesos to causes, from drug rehabilitation centers, to animal rescue and health, and primarily educational organizations, such as the DREAM (Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring) Project, that supports 4,000 youths across 14 communities on the North Coast. There are zero administration fees taken from contributions.

Date: Saturday, November 16
Where: Playa Dorada Golf Club
Time: Tee off at 0900 sharp, arrive by 0830 to register
Cost: $3,500 per player
What is included: Lunch, green fees, caddy (tips optional), roaming drink carts, grab bag of goodies
Early Registration: Jolly Roger's in Sosua
Format: Texas Scramble
Start: Shotgun

All genders are welcome, of course, and not to worry if you are not on a team, we will pair individual players
on tournament day. Nice way to meet fellow golfers.

Prizes will be given to top performing teams. Closest to the hole, longest drive prizes will be awarded.
Valuable auction items will be available, as will mulligan purchases, and raffle tickets for merchandise.

This tournament will maintain the tradition of fun first, offering great camaraderie, new friends and
a chance to continue giving back to our community. Sponsors are very welcome, as individuals or companies.
Sponsors are welcome to bring publicity materials such as banners or hand-outs. Please support those
who support this cooperative effort.

Places for the 6th annual tournament are filling up. Register now to save your place in this
fun event. Individual golfers are welcome. Proceeds go to charity.
Players can pre-register at Jolly Roger's Restaurant/Bar in Sosua.

Donations may also be given at Jolly's.

We have now about 50 players and could easily accommodate about 12 + more.
If you'd like to play and haven't signed up, please do. It's less to play the
tournament than pay visitor's prices. + a nice party afterwards. Meet folks
and join in. It's about fun and good charitable causes.
Scores are irrelevant, as is style or outfits. This is not a 'who's who'
event. Totally casual. Totally fun.

The numbers aren't in yet as to how much was raised for the 4 charities, but I'm guessing it will have been a record
breaking year.
Sorry the beer ran out early. But the rums kept flowing and at lunch afterwards, it was an open bar.
