Friday, October 11 around noon Mayor Ilana Neumann in the company of three engineers of Public Works came to check a bridge almost to collapse in the community of Bella Vista. Bella Vista is a part of the municipality of Sos?a. This bridge allows the residents to cross the river Bella Vista and so to be connected with the other communities. During heavy rainfall (hurricanes) the river often swells to immense swirling water masses in which trees, houses and also parts of this bridge were torn and dragged.
At present, the bridge is so undermined that it is about to collapse. The mayor and three engineers viewed the deplorable condition of the bridge and discussed possible solutions to the problem. The gathered people greeted the quartet excited and grateful. They now had the distinct impression that there is something actually done to the bridge problem.
