In an other message, someone said that he thought that this road wasn't suitable at all in this moment even for a 4WD.
Is it still the case?
Can someone confirm before we go?
Thanks

Please advise what road you are talking about. Is it the one to Constanza? Regards, PJT

Re: Sorry: forgot something

Tell me if you have ever seen any roads that will not require a 4WD in DR? Except in the central part of Santo Domingo, there are no good roads anywhere else. Of course, for a third world country, we are far ahead of the rest. But do not expect Miami type highways.

Ocoa-Constanza Road, Condition???

If someone is going on the roads less traveled in the DR your best option is a 4WD. The lady needs to hear about the condition of the Ocoa-Constanza road. Has anyone recently traveled it and is willing offer an opinion about its suitability for 4WD travel. Regards, PJT
