About two weeks ago i was walking by the big casino on the 27th street near the churchill av. and a guy came and sprayed some stuff in my air. Boy didn't i run -- i wasn't going to pass out with him on my face.

Don't let just anyone come too close; and if not possible watch their every move

Good luck to your friend

"Urban Myth"!!!
Lots of different "Stories" and "Variations, none true!
It's up there with, "Girl spikes guy drink in bar, they go up to his room, he wakes up in ice filled bathtub with a kidney gone"!!!The "Dominican VERSION", until now, was a man comes up to a well dressed woman in a mall parking garage, he asks her to try some "Perfume".
He sprays her, then abuses her sexually, and robs her!
"Get A Life"!!!
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
Now lets hear from all the "Conspiracy Theory Nuts", who have "Proof" that it's TRUE!
Like, "It happened to my wife's sister"!!!
I checked it out on the internet, IT's TRUE"!

It has happened to a lady friend of mine in Santiago by a couple Haitians.
Luckily, she had forgotten and left her I-Phone at home that day.

The drugging and mugging part actually did happen to a close friend of mine once when he was in La Zona Rosa de Bogot? and brought a couple of working girls to the apartment he rented. It was clean when he came to, and not "clean" as in vacuum cleaned. Got no clue as to if it was burundanga or some other substance that was used. But then again, it did not happen in the DR so the incident doesn't disprove CC:s statement. And it happened 11 years ago, so it's not exactly a new modus operandi in Bogot? (although I don't know how it is in the DR).

The Spanish Version of the Mickey Finn. My uncle warns my cousins and I about the spiked drinks in Boca Chica he has a hundred stories about guys waking up naked and robbed.
I will say that several Presidentes usually preclude thirty seconds of action and then I wake up nude, but that only costs fifteen hundred pesos.

Long time ago when I first came here I went to a family B-day celebration. I was sitting with my spouse's cousin wife (from USA). We were drinking soda. There were a lot of people. During the celebration my spouse came running up to us and said, "do not put your drink down, and if you do then don't drink again from it". He went on to explain that people will put a "substance" in your drink when your not looking. Normally I take it as paranoia on his part but to this day I will never forget the urgency in his voice about this. And when going out now, especially to a "neighbourhood" get together I never let my drink out of my sight.

Makes for a good Halloween story. But I don't believe it either. It is highly unlikely that enough concentrated product could be delivered via trans-dermal absorption to render anyone unconscious or incapacitated in a amount of time to reasonably rob him. Likewise for delivering a substance via inhalation. The perpetrator would also be affected by the substance if not more than the victim.
A more possible and likely scenario would be for a chica to put a barbiturate or similar controlled substance into an unsuspecting jons drink and when he fell asleep or passed out.. she could clean him out.
