where are the cacao farms? I want to go see one.

Use the search function. About six months ago I posted a link to the association of cacao farms. It gives tour times, locations....etc but I don't remember where I got the link from. I believe it was an eco-tourism link.

where are you located? in POP area you can go to chocolat in altamira. the farms are right there. you can see the process of harvesting and drying the grains and then buy ready product.

this is something I would love to do when I next go in December... are you able to provide more info? I am staying in Villa Gonzales which is cose to Altamira but know nothing of the chocolate farms.... can you just visit , watch and buy? or is it a guided tour ( which I usually hate) ?
