Cabarete, Dominican Republic
I was very please to find out about Encargopac shippers.

I subsequently shipped down a Nutribullet , Scuba gear, Gopro accessories and ankle/knee supports.

While I was in the office there were other gringos wearing similar clothes to me and I figured that maybe we have more in common than color of skin.

So, what are you guys and gals importing? please tell.

When I pack my boxes in Boston, I look to send, "High Value Targets"!
No stuff that has a lot of volume, and little cost.
Since you pay by the "Volume", and NOT by the weight!
Some shippers don't know that!
Other things to consider are items that are not available here, or, over priced,or, poor quality!
Sadly, THOSE Categories include almost EVERYTHING Here!
I have shipped many computers, flat screen monitors, and many other "Electronics".
NEVER any problems, or customs charges, the Shippers have their Connections!!
OTC medicines, a TON!!!!
Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch cheaper in the USA.
"SPAM", I Know, I Know!
Canned hams, some spices, clothes, shoes, sheets, towels, and I buy tools, some new, (Big Box Hardware stores) many from swap meets/garage sales, etc.
Christmas wrapping paper!
Who Knew it is like gold here??????
Toys for my kids, again, who knew?,that the Toys here are either "Junk", and over priced, or of good quality and "Over Priced".
AND, a poor selection!
Did I leave anything out?????????????????????????????????????
No Matter, THAT's what "Amazon", and "EPS" are for, just nothing over a few pounds, that is!!!

I import almost everything. Exceptions to that are the locally available food and fuels. If it weighs more than a few pounds, I get quotes to make sure it is worth it.

Mas saisonada from Canada - different flavors (flavours)....

Yes I buy it here but it's not cheaper.... Jumbos in the True North for $4 a jug --BIG JUG.
And for more flavor and economy, I add Beef Broth (50/50) w/ horseradish.

Like the DoubleMint twins -- I get double distance and double the pleasure from My Clamato.

Una dia, we'll have a "Clamato Off" - who can mix the better one.....

OK, I grant you -- it's TV's you're allergic too in the US -- I recall now

Bill, I add "Presidente", "Bien Fria" to my Clamato, also "Bien Fria", mixed in a "Frozen Glass Mug"!!!!
There is a cheaper type of "Clamato",USA imported ,different brand, about 1/2 the price, and after your first 10 "Grandes" you won't be able to tell any "dufferenssssssssssss"!!!!!!!!!
AND, when you are really smashed, there is a Dominican brand, little "Clam" flover, but 4,000 mg of salt in a really tiny bottle!
OR, you can buy "V8 Juice", and add clam juice!!!!
I think I have a "Clam" fetish, must be the "Smell", Ya Think"????????

What is the name of that ?
Tomato juice and beer?

I forget.
I amazed them in Courchevel (back at the beginning of recorded time) w/that concoction.
The old hangover cure.... but I just liked it.

I have tried the RD brand and like it.... does in a pinch for small emergencies.
Otherwise........... in for a dime, in for a dollar.... I go all the way

Speaking of going all the way --- that clam fetish of yours

They are sweet little things.... dontchathink??

Well Then,...."No Cheeps For You"!
Actually I love "Big Boned Ladies"!!!
Especially in Winnapeg Manitoba Canada!
They are "Warm In Winter, and "Shady" in Summer"!!!!!!!!
Easy for ME to SAY"!
My bathroom scale stops at 300 lbs, I Didn't!!!!!
I fell asleep on the beach at Boca Chica one day.
When I woke up, an entire Dominican family was having a picnic lunch, and relaxing in my shade!
CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCC
Since it was Boca Chica, I only charged them 50 pesos!

Bill, you are Sooooooo right about "Clams"1
Especially Dominican clams, they remove the "Beard" before they serve them!!!
They drink "Beer & Tomato juice" in their beer in some places in the Mid West USA, as especially Kansas.
Catharine Stebilius tried to ban the sale when she was Governor, too much salt!!!!! (Not Really!)
A "Boiler Maker" was the "Drug Of Choice" at the working class "Corner Bars"!!!

Internet on the fritz....

Boiler makers have hard liquor in them

Beer/tomato juice is a 'Red Eye' where I come from -- Red Rooster in other parts.
