Yes, another golf tournament.
This one is this coming Saturday at the same venue.
Playa Dorada. Be there by 0830. cost is $4,500 pesos.
It is put on by ASHORESOCA, the hotel and restaurant
associaition of the North Coast. They are purely about bringing
tourists to the area. It is part of a national organization.
Most larger hotels are members, as is Aerodom (airport managers), etc.
It is also a charity event, to teach public school students how to
know about sustainable tourism.
The grab bag will include a very nice polo dry-quick shirt and a quality cap.
It will be a mix of Dominican local golfers and a few of us gringos.
If you care to join, please come on in.
But with some players and some support, maybe and hopefully we can
make a difference.
It's worth a shot and a $110 bucks.

Anyone who's been here a while knows it's not about what you know, but who you know.
We, as gringos, often have the short end of the stick, and hopefully, by giving up a day
of our time, will get a foot up on obtaining a voice in our chosen community(ies).
If you're in, let me know by Wednesday by noon, or the price goes up 10%.
Which I'm not in agreement with, but it is what it is.
We are 3 or 5 at the moment. A minority. Let's try to make it at least 30/70.
