I can't find much information about Boca Chica. I went there many times during the day on my trips to SD but never stayed. This time I am planning to stay 5 days in Garant. Any suggestions on where to go and what to do there? I am not a big fan of their beach and will probably be exploring Juan Dolio.

And you won't find much here either. This is the North Coast section.
I cant find much on Boca Chica in South Coast. We have a number of posters who are familiar with both. I normally check this board since I have been a regular tp Sosua for over 5 years.

My two cents. Stay away from BC, nothing to see or do there. You may be better off at Juan Dolio.

I will be exploring Juan Dolio for my future trips. I am not a big fan of Boca Chica either. Just want to get the best of what is there. The girl I see now lives there.

Be careful of the girl. Boca Chica is infamous as a fun town. Most women are prostitutes. There is nothing but a few casinos and Calle Duarte. The guy who makes the pastry in the morning is actually worth vistiting. The beach is dirty

Sorry to rain on your parade but its really not a place to be looking for love. Lust yes. Love no.

Thank you for your reply. I am not looking for love in DR. It does not mean some of those girls dont have feelings but the skeptical me always prevails. I dump them as soon as they mention the word Western Union. But I will be looking for those pastelitos in the morning that I like to have with a nice cup of expresso. I would like to find a place there similar to Maimon as well where I can have the whole cotorra guisada for 180 lb. All I saw there was deep fried and they tried to charge me different price.
