lately every year we have a dinner with american friends, looking forward to it. not really because of the turkey but because of the desserts that seriously ROCK. that lady can cook. salivating now.

Happy Thanksgiving to all...we are here in the US with my family. We are out West and it is a bit chilly here. Since my parents are getting older I cherish these times we can celebrate the Holiday together. However I must say the flight from the DR to here was horrible and long. Big mistake going through Miami.....you would think I would have learned my lesson by now. Back in Santo Domingo next week. Just a quick add-on....I swore I left the bedroom light on when we left our house in Santo Domingo. We arrived here at my parents @ 7:50p, I sent a text to the lady who helps me around the house and asked if she could go by the next day and check. Well I got a text back about 1 1/2 hours later that she went to our house and sure enough I had left the light on. Mind you there is a 4 hour time difference between here and the DR. I will bring her a little something special for that. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
