From the Sosua News:

The foundation 'Jazz Education Foundation' (Fedujazz) donated a total of seven violins to the Culture House (Casa de Arte) of Sos?a. The first five violins were, on behalf of the foundation by Mar?a Elena Grateraux during the opening ceremony on November 13, offered to Mayor Ilana Neumann and Adolfo Faringthon (director of Casa de Arte).

The other two violins were handed over on Monday afternoon by Jennifer Kirkman, Anahid Avakian and Cecilia Venel on behalf of the foundation to the Mayor and music teacher Venus Guerrero. The music teacher Venus Guerrero currently teaches 21 students to play the violin. The 'Jazz Education Foundation' (Fedujazz) subsidizes 50% of the salary of the music teacher. In total, there have been donated 13 violins to the cultural center (Casa de Arte). The music teacher is hoping that more organizations and individuals want to donate a music instrument for the students who are so eager to learn to play an instrument.

The cultural center is located opposite the taxi stank of Sos?a Bay Casino at the beginning of the Pedro Clisante
