You are invited to celebrate St Lucia day on December 13th at The Meeting Place between 2 and 6 pm. This will mark the launching of the winter season at The Meeting Place. St Lucia Day is a unique Swedish holiday which begins the Christmas season with candles, songs and Gl?gg (a Swedish Christmas drink), Julbr?d (special bread) and the famous Swedish Papperkaka (ginger cookies). In Sweden this tradition is an early morning tradition but we will be doing it, as most Swedes do now, in the afternoon.
