Very popular, but I don't know the details. Many small stores have the numbers posted outside their stores every day. It's not like in the US where there is a video merchandiser and they get printed receipts. It's low tech.

The scratch and win tickets are fun. They start at 10 pesos(25 cents) each and for $5 you can play for 10-20 minutes. Low payoffs with good odds. Maybe one in three tickets break even or better?

Is lottery popular? Is the Pope Catholic??

There are guys walking around all over SD selling the tickets, you can buy a single ticket, half page, full page, as many as you want. The headquarters is at the intersection of Independencia and Churchill. I see them outside of smaller supermarkets, even at the beach.

They do sports betting too

The lottery in DR is already owned by a US company and it's a controlled industry, you won't get in.

We currently have operations in a few south american countries. We would like to expand to the DR. We have well over 130k monthly clients in a little over 2 years time. We are a team of 23 attorneys and/or CPA's which have come together using our knowledge to benenefit from this opportunity. DR is our next venture. Santo Domingo is the highest populated city in the islands. Giving it great opportunity with the right knowledge and product.

Anyone interested in doing business with us, would be reviewed with high interest.

We offer the Lottery from the states to citizens of other countries. Why play a lottery offering 100k winnings when you can play mega millions which recently offered 560 million for its winning ticket. Much more appealing to the eye. The dominican lottery can stay the dominican lottery. That is a business my team and I want no part of.

What are popular lotteries in the dominican. Do many play? Are they govt controlled? Where do people play? Or is it street controlled like the numbers game and sports betting in america?

Lottery places are like the casinos for the poor. Some people play every day!

Anyway I can get at least 1% of my money back from the Dominican economy is highly enticing to me. Anything more
than 1% sounds too stressfull.

If you think you are going to telemarket DOMS to sell a "lotto Pack", which borders on telemarketing scam/scheme or whatever, you are mistaken. The Federal Trade Commission works both ways. The DR is now into shutting down telemarketing scams outbound. And very few here have landlines. And on the other hand if you think you are going to set up lottery kiosks in the Country through tiendas, or whatever other method, and compete with already organized syndicates, good luck with that, which will be an epic fail. my2cents.

and, "We are a team of 23 attorneys and/or CPA's which have come together using our knowledge to benenefit from this opportunity". what happened to the 24th attorney? jajaja.

Its already been done in larger cities in south american countries. It is not telemarketing. Not a kiosk. But I thank you for your 2 cents. As a matter of fact it is already done in the USA via different states. The US govt is well aware. Your 2 cents should also recognize that 32 states have applied to make lotto legal online and via mailing services. If you need assistance on updated legal matters, I would be happy to provide it to you. Now online and selling of lottery vis mail, that is not something we are into. At least not at this time. But it is something other companies are looking to accomplish. The truth is 2nd and 3rd world countries maintain a lottery system that is not beneficial to their citizens. Does not assist in paying for schools, roads and building. As a matter of fact they are run very poorly. Investors from the US see this and have figured out ways to accomplish what you say is not going to happen. Remember this. With proper education. If there is a will there is a way.

Thanks for you input.

No. We are based out of the USA. We simply offer citizens of other countries the opportunity to be involved in the largest jackpots in the world. Which are located in the USA. We concentrate on the Mega Millions drawings. If you look into it, the most recent rewards are 560 million with 2 winners taking in the payouts.

We are not in the scamming business. Scams are in and out operations that do not last long. We are here to stay and expand. Offering a service to the international world that is reliable and dependable. The same service residents of the USA receive.

At this point and time, there is nothing illegal or against morals. Unless of course laws are changed in the future. But due to the need of tax revenue, regulations on lottery and betting are becoming weak. NJ for example has made sports betting legal as of 2014. Taking away funds from illegal operations and organized crime, all while assisting the state in its debts.
