Last Saturday, December 14 debuted the municipal choir (El Coro municipal de Sos?a) in the Parque Mirador in Sos?a. The choir was founded five months ago by Manuel Molina and professional opera performer Angela Cruz. It is an internationally mixed group consisting of members from Norway, the USA, Canada, Haiti, France and of course the Dominican Republic. The vocal presentation was preceded by an extended gratitude to the Mayor Ilana Neumann by Adolfo Faringthon and Angela Cruz. Thanks to the continued support of the Mayor so the choir could grow to the high level that it has now.

Then followed a brilliant performance by the beautiful polyphony singing choir. Besides well-known Christmas carols they also sang songs of famous Dominican, Mexican, Italian and Spanish composers. The audience massively present listened to these songs noiselessly and gave a loud applause after every song. The choir members rehearsed the songs together for only five months, and yet with this great result! Thanks to maestro Manuel Molina and Angela Cruz Sos?a has to feel rich with such a high-level singing choir.
